The tree park is located right before the Sugpon welcome arc. This used to be an area where mud and soil, which were dug up from an erosion caused by Typhoon Feria back in 2002, were dumped. They planted trees on it and has become our version of a "reclaimed land". Today, they're converting it to a mini-park, tree park that is.

Considered a favorite "picnic ground" for most locals, Pen-ned is located around four kilometers away from the town proper. The best time to visit is during the rainy season, from late July to early October.

GOODLUCK and CONGRATULATIONS LADIES!

Back to Baggak ti Sugpon Index
She arrived at the photoshoot location via motorcycle all the way from Pangotan. She didn't look tired at all, in fact, she looked very fresh. She gamely put on her dress and had her hair and make-up done. We did not start shooting until all the nine candidates are finished, but she patiently waited. We did not hear any complaints from her. When her turn came, she effortlessly posed for the camera, following every instruction with ease.

Here are some of her best shots, proving once in for all that she is worthy to be called "Baggak ti Sugpon"!

Isn't she beautiful?

Our single and only criteria in selecting photos to be featured:
- the story behind the picture. It could be happy, heart warming, sad or fun! The image quality is not of utmost important. It's been proven that a good photograph could be taken not only with a DSLR but also with a regular digital camera or even with your phone camera. A nice caption may also catch our attention!
